Frequently Asked Questions

What cosmetic treatments do you offer?

Due to the change in TGA laws, we are prohibited in publicly advertising or displaying the majority of treatments we perform.

There has been no change in the treatments we perform, rather a change in how we can display to the general public what we do.

We provide free consultations to discuss your treatment concerns and our options for non-surgical cosmetic treatments. We will create a tailored treatment plan and our Registered Nurse will work with you to achieve your aesthetic and anti-aging goals.

Can I see before & after's of your work?

Unfortunately, due to the change in TGA laws, we are prohibited in publicly advertising or displaying our before and after photos of the cosmetic treatments we perform.

We understand that as a patient, you may wish to see the results you can expect or what may be achievable. We can continue to show before and after photos of our clients who have consented to sharing their images to you in clinic during consultation.

We understand that you want to find the right practitioner that has your goals, understands your concerns and has the same mindset of a natural looking result.

Therefore we provide obligation free consultations to discuss your concerns. If you wish to proceed with treatment on the day or at a later date this can be organised. If you do not wish to proceed with treatment, there is no pressure to go ahead with it.

How can I prepare for my treatment?

Avoid alcohol and caffeine. Drinking alcohol shortly after can increase the risk of bruising and swelling. Alcohol and caffeine causes blood vessels to dilate.

How to avoid bruising:

Take Arnica tablets 4-5 days before treatment and after treatment to reduce bruising and swelling. Topical arnica can also be applied.

After recieving treatment, avoid exercise for 24 hours post treatment and avoid rigorous exercise for a few days due to the increased blood flow to the treated areas.

Will the treatment hurt?

Our treatments may cause mild to moderate discomfort. Most treatments are considered quite tolerable.

An ice pack can be applied at the time of your treatment to reduce pain and swelling. Depending on the treatment, topical numbing agents may also be applied.

You can consider Panadol (as per packet and warning instructions) 30 minutes prior to treatment if you have a low pain tolerance.
